The Gospels (8
Weeks)
The Gospels will journey through the life of
Christ in a chronological manner by way of the texts of
the four canonical Gospels in the Sacred Scriptures.
After being supplied with necessary background knowledge
on the culture of Jesus and the persons of the
Evangelists, the student will come to a deeper
understanding of Jesus through the very text of
Scripture itself. By the end of the course, the student
will have a deeper understanding of and relationship
with Jesus, the only Way to the Father, by the Words of
the Holy Spirit in the Scriptures as understood by His
guidance in the Church.
Locations & Times:
Tuesdays beginning
April 1st
at St. Thomas More Parish, from 7-9 p.m.
Thursdays beginning
April 3rd

Acts and Epistles (7 Weeks)
Act and
Apostles
is the second part of our study of the New Testament
which began with the Gospels. The foundation of the
birth, life and passion of Our Lord is extended in the
ministry of the apostles. At Pentecost the Church is
filled with the Holy Spirit to continue Christ’s
mission. The book of Acts recounts the expansion of the
early church. The epistles and book of Revelation
address pastoral concerns related to the life of the
early Christians. This course will survey the Acts of
the Apostles, Pauline and other epistles and the book of
Revelation. We will highlight the significance of these
Sacred Scriptures for today.
